Business is Booming! Well, sort of.

The jewelry business is taking off, and I’m still a little surprised by it. I’m surprised mostly because I’ve done so little to help it along. Basically, my business is coming in the form of advertising done through word of mouth. People like my creations! I have no website, no business cards… heck, I’m still iffy on the business name. And yet I’m getting business. I’ve decided to test my ability at photographing my work and making it available here. This is a picture of a pair of earrings for which I’ve had several orders. Several! Eep! If this test goes well, I may have to get to work on that gallery page, since my last excuse will have run out.

    Three posts in one day? You’re a maniac!

    About your picture, I think it’s fine. The only thing I have to say about it is that I wasn’t sure if the shadow at the bottom was, in fact, a shadow or an off-white/gray bead of some sort. What type of lighting are you using? You might be able to just position a flashlight on the table, pointing up to the bottom of the earrings, and thereby eliminate that shadow (if it is a shadow, and I’m pretty sure it is). Or you could photoshop that shadow out, which is probably easier than dealing with the lighting.

    Hold on a minute. It only LOOKS like three posts in one day. One was in the morning, one was over 12 hours later in the middle of the night, and the next was the following morning. Is it my fault you people have a life outside of your computer and can’t keep up? Oh, wait a minute…

    Amanda, the earrings come only as shown and are $30.00. I’m starting to think I’m not charging enough though, since I keep getting more orders for them!
