Practically imperfect in every way. Start with a lot of silliness. Mix in some insecurities and a handful of awkwardness. Add a pound of naivety, innocence, and child-like wonderings. Blend well. Half-bake and top off with a sprinkle of imagination and dollop of dreams. It’s the recipe for me!

"I think we have come to find out that the Education system, run by Liberal Hippies that really couldn't find any other job that allowed them so much time off, the ability to do drugs, and to spout their rhetoric is alive and well. It is teaching out kids things like 'Abortion is Good,' 'Government is Bad.' We have educators that, for the most part, don't teach to the subject, they teach to their beliefs. It is really sad, and even sadder when you see highly intelligent children buying into it." --Kelli

When I was a kid, I found that going out into very bright sunlight made me sneeze. I never really understood it, but I came to expect it. In fact, if I feel a sneeze coming on, I instinctively turn my face towards the brightest light I can find. I assumed everyone experienced the same thing. I learned later that not everyone does. It must be hereditary though, because my boys sneeze in bright light too. I’m sure it must look a little funny when we walk out from a store and the three of us start having sneezing fits. And I do mean fits. We all sneeze in a series of 3-5 sneezes each.
My husband has a different sneezing condition. It’s one I find very odd, and I wonder if there are others who have the same trigger. I hesitate to mention it, but being the dutiful blogger that I am, I will. His sneezing reflex is triggered when… well, when he becomes aroused. Yes, you read that right. It doesn’t take much to make him sneeze either. I can trigger it with just a kiss or a hug, or sometimes with just the right glance. Maybe he’s allergic to me! Whatever it is, it’s very strange, don’t you think? I mean, just imagine it for one minute.
I’m sure he’s just going to love that I’ve revealed this tidbit to everyone. So don’t tell him, okay? Mr. Denha, this means you are not allowed to use this information to your advantage. ![]()
LOL! Loved the post! An entire post dedicated to sneezing? So genius! And the thing about your husband…thats too funny. But I guess in a way it’s good. You’ll always know when he’s aroused. As for me, my sneezes are triggered when I get into something. Like, walking into a room, getting into a car, going outside, wherever. And like you and your sons, I have sneeze fits too — sometimes up to 10 sneezes! People, think it’s funny and get a laugh out of it. I dont know why.
LOL Too funny. Did his sneezing at those times developed over time? It could have been real embarassing when you were first dating.
Myself, I went 3 years at work where I would sneeze just once, at the same time every day. It didn’t happen at home, just when I was at my desk. It got to the point that co-workers would call out “Bless you” before I even sneezed. I’m not sure why, but it just stopped one day, all at once. I’m don’t know what changed around me, but I don’t think I’ve sneezed at work since except from obvious cold or allergies.

Hey, I sneeze in bright sunlight too! It has to hit my eyes just right. My father is always laughing about it. I’ve never heard of anyone else that did; we have something in common!
Love your blog by the way!
I don’t sneeze because of bright light but if I need “help” sneezing I’ll look at a bright light and that seems to work.
I love the sneeze/arousal connection way too funny!
(still havent found my cookbook with the fried rice recipe in it… still working on that.. )
I am also a guy who sneezes when very aroused. Nice to know I’m not the only person on earth who that happens to!
It’s the spark of an idea that hits me unexpectedly. It’s the silly wonderings I have after a whirlwind of thoughts. It’s about creativity, inspiration, and imagination. But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.
