about me

Practically imperfect in every way. Start with a lot of silliness. Mix in some insecurities and a handful of awkwardness. Add a pound of naivety, innocence, and child-like wonderings. Blend well. Half-bake and top off with a sprinkle of imagination and dollop of dreams. It’s the recipe for me!

  • "I personally believe that U.S. Americans are unable to do so because, uh, some people out there in our nation don't have maps. And I believe that our education like, such as South Africa, and, the Iraq, everywhere like such as. And I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa, and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children." --Caitlin Upton, Miss South Carolina Teen 2007

It’s here!

September 28, 2004

My new computer just arrived! Tuesday morning, boys are in school, and I’m home alone with the new computer! Exclamation points everywhere! I have to get the new baby into her new home, so I have no time to blog right now!

Had a look at your new toy via the link in your sidebar, and that is one desirable piece of technology. I sometimes wish I was an Apple person too, cos your stuff looks so much cooler, but unfortunately Windows is the only viable option.

I certainly want one of those widescreen TFT monitors, though. They make them for windows machines too, right? Now, where can I steal the requisite £££££….

I’m seeming an incompetent twit here. I looked up the character entitie code for the sterling sign, but it didn’t seem to work. I’ll stop clogging your site now…

A lot of Windows users not only swear by their own OS, but they claim that Apple products are ugly. I think they say that out of jealousy, so it’s refreshing to hear that you can appreciate the beauty of an Apple. :)

I’ve heard the monitor/CPU is top-heavy and prone to falling on to its back. Is that true?

Try as I may, I cannot get my computer to tip over in any direction. I have the 20″, so I can’t speak for the 17″.

It’s the spark of an idea that hits me unexpectedly. It’s the silly wonderings I have after a whirlwind of thoughts. It’s about creativity, inspiration, and imagination. But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.
