about me

Practically imperfect in every way. Start with a lot of silliness. Mix in some insecurities and a handful of awkwardness. Add a pound of naivety, innocence, and child-like wonderings. Blend well. Half-bake and top off with a sprinkle of imagination and dollop of dreams. It’s the recipe for me!

And I believe that our education like, such as South Africa, and, the Iraq, everywhere like such as. And I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa, and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children."

Noodles

May 11, 2005

My sister loves the line I added to my blog description that reads, “But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.” I’ve already admitted I stole that phrase from the always witty Janet. But my sister interprets it a bit differently from the way it was originally written. Janet explained it as the mundane things people write about in their blogs when they have nothing better to blog about. “Today, I ate noodles for lunch. The end.” Realizing that a lot of my entries were about the mundane, I added the line about noodles in my blog description.

Sister, however, took the noodles idea to mean that I’d be blogging about all the silly thoughts that bounce around in my head that are, in her opinion, blog-worthy. So, at her request, (and at the risk of scaring away what few friends I have) I’ll be adding her recipe for noodles to my blog soon.

It’ll take more than a noodle recipe to scare me away!

I thought that was a reference to those noodles from that Chinese restaurant that you love so much. I’ve read a noodle post or two of yours!

I must say, I’ve always thought it was a reference to that Chinese restaurant also!

Chinese restaurant. Does everyone know about Dale Yee’s? Too funny. I guess sometimes it would be about the stuff we talk about there.

It’s the spark of an idea that hits me unexpectedly. It’s the silly wonderings I have after a whirlwind of thoughts. It’s about creativity, inspiration, and imagination. But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.
