Practically imperfect in every way. Start with a lot of silliness. Mix in some insecurities and a handful of awkwardness. Add a pound of naivety, innocence, and child-like wonderings. Blend well. Half-bake and top off with a sprinkle of imagination and dollop of dreams. It’s the recipe for me!

"I think we have come to find out that the Education system, run by Liberal Hippies that really couldn't find any other job that allowed them so much time off, the ability to do drugs, and to spout their rhetoric is alive and well. It is teaching out kids things like 'Abortion is Good,' 'Government is Bad.' We have educators that, for the most part, don't teach to the subject, they teach to their beliefs. It is really sad, and even sadder when you see highly intelligent children buying into it." --Kelli

Thank you to everyone who expressed good wishes for my dad. I’m happy to say that he’s recovering well, though a few of his caregivers are feeling a bit stressed out right now.
I like to think I handle stress rather well. But I gotta admit, spending time with my dad almost daily to take care of him is wearing me out. I’m downright exhausted. TGIF, because I get today off. The rest of what’s stressing me out right now is a combination of little things that need to be done. And almost every day seems to serve up something new.
On today’s menu is the boys’ upcoming dentist appointment. Their permanent teeth are coming in later than expected, and their baby teeth aren’t lasting as long as expected. Like their mother, they grind their front teeth together when they sleep. This means they’re going to need a procedure which is basically a root canal for baby teeth. The good news is our insurance covers 80% of the cost. The bad news is the remaining $400+ is going to make things a little tight for a while now that my student loan has come due and I’m still not working.
It may be time to start a serious job search.
What if you invest in one of those teeth grinidng mouth guards?
I have one of those teeth grinding mough guards myself, but since the boys still have their baby teeth, I don’t think it would be worth it to invest in one for them as they will outgrow it soon.
Besides that, the teeth are already damaged enough to need this procedure.
It’s the spark of an idea that hits me unexpectedly. It’s the silly wonderings I have after a whirlwind of thoughts. It’s about creativity, inspiration, and imagination. But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.
