about me

Practically imperfect in every way. Start with a lot of silliness. Mix in some insecurities and a handful of awkwardness. Add a pound of naivety, innocence, and child-like wonderings. Blend well. Half-bake and top off with a sprinkle of imagination and dollop of dreams. It’s the recipe for me!

And I believe that our education like, such as South Africa, and, the Iraq, everywhere like such as. And I believe that they should, our education over here in the U.S. should help the U.S., or should help South Africa, and should help the Iraq and the Asian countries, so we will be able to build up our future for our children."

WordPress Learning Curve

May 30, 2006

I made the switch to WordPress. Yay me! I’m still learning my way around the new system, so it may be a few days before I’m able to polish it up and fix all those little weird things that are happening. Right now, I need to work on the OTHER SITE which is really-seriously-for-real-I’m-not-kidding going to relaunch on June 1. That’s only two days away! Ack!

Holy cow - how did you fix your template so fast? Is there some kind of template importer for WP that I’m missing? Or… am I just that slow :(

I have a secret weapon. :) Seriously. I hired Janeth from PolarDuality to integrate my ecommerce site into ZenCart. She’s gone above and beyond by fixing up my blog, and a thousand other things that I never expected her to fix.

Hey what happened to Rants, Raves, Worlds worst mother? I loved that stuff. And is there a link to the “other” site somewhere on here?

Mike, if you’re serious, Janeth’s website is polarduality.com. She’s extremely talented and reasonable.

Sis, the Rants, Raves, etc. were giving me all kinds of trouble when I fixed my Blogger problem. When I moved over to WordPress, I decided to put them into categories instead of my sidebar. They will be returning shortly. :)

I’ve contacted Janeth, and I mentioned you. I’m ready to move. We’ll see how much $$$ she wants, and how much I want not to have to deal with the hassle of a redesign myself. I think I COULD do it, but I just don’t think that I want to, you know what I mean?

I know what you mean, Oz. Having used Janeth for my online shop and the blog move, I don’t think I’ll ever go back to the hassel of doing it myself ever again.

about this blog

It’s the spark of an idea that hits me unexpectedly. It’s the silly wonderings I have after a whirlwind of thoughts. It’s about creativity, inspiration, and imagination. But sometimes, it’s just about eating noodles.
